History and Memory Project

For this project, you will be inventing, remediating, or remixing a monument or memorial by experimenting with the mode(s) and media to create or interpret new meaning. You may choose the topic of your monument or memorial (for example, the event or person you’d like to memorialize). Keep in mind that your project should have a clear audience and purpose; if I were to create a memorial for my grandfather, my audience, purpose, and design would be different than if I were to create a memorial for a public figure. You can also consider and include where the memorial or monument could exist (though this is not required).
